Receive Free Mets Tickets if You Donate Blood on Friday

Now I know the Mets are not having a great season, and fans are disappointed, but now they want our blood?? LOL

Well, the Mets don't want our blood, BUT the New York Blood Center needs it....Badly!

According to the Patch, The New York Blood Center provides blood and services to nearly 200 hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and parts of Connecticut and Pennsylvania, and just like the Central Jersey Blood Center, their levels are critically low. I posted a blog last week about the shortage.

This Friday, 7/21, there will be a blood drive at the Ocean County Mall in Toms River in the JC Penney wing from noon-8p, and everyone that stops by and donates blood will receive a voucher to redeem for two free tickets to the New York Mets as a thank you.
