Ozzy's and Quiet Riot's brilliant guitarist, Randy Rhoads, died on this day, March 19th, back in 1982.

He was killed when the small plane he was riding in buzzed Ozzy's tour bus and the wing clipped the bus, resulting in the crash.

Many consider Randy to be one of the best rock guitarists of all time, with his merging of classical guitar and heavy metal.

He was only 25 when he died, but he influenced countless guitar players and continues to inspire and amaze musicians and music-lovers alike all these years later.

Thanks for all the great music, Randy!
