R.I.P. Eileen Brennan

Actress Eileen Brennan died Sunday in her Burbank home at age 80.

Although she was best known for her role as the tough Army Captain in the movie, "Private Benjamin", I'll always remember her for her role in the film, "FM" where she shined as a DJ known as "Mother".

According to nytimes.com, her manager, Kim Vasilakis, confirmed the death on Tuesday, saying the cause was bladder cancer.

She had had a solid career on the New York stage and in many films.
