Pink Floyd is premiering a new instrumental song off their forthcoming final album.

It's called "The Lost Art of Conversation" from The Endless River, what they say is their final album, due out on November 11th.

According to an article at rollingstone.com, The Endless River began back in 1993 when David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright came together to write songs for The Division Bell.

They spent days crafting ambient, instrumental pieces for a planned second disc of the album, but they were all put in the vault when they decided to scale back their plans and release one disc.

And ultimately they stripped down nearly everything from the music except Richard Wright's keyboard, and then overdubbed new drum and guitar tracks.

At first I wasn't that intrigued with this piece, but when David Gilmour's guitar kicked in, it didn't disappoint, with it's soaring, smooth and ethereal feel.
