Sir Paul will sub for the late Kurt Cobain at the 12-12-12 Sandy Relief Concert tonight in New York City.

That's right.

Paul will join Foo Fighters Dave Grohl,  Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear on stage at Madison Square Garden in the concert event of the year.

According to an article in the Guardian, Paul will appear on stage with the band in New York to play a new song after secretly working with Grohl and Novoselic, who have not performed with each other for 20 years.

A spokesman confirmed that Grohl recently asked McCartney to come along to "jam with some mates".

I have a feeling that Kurt Cobain is nodding his approval from the Other Side of this Nirvana reunion with Sir Paul.

What do you think?
