After tonight, exit 88 on the Garden State Parkway is no more.

It's part of a $330 million dollar project to restore the shoulders on the southbound parkway

According to NJ.com:

Exit 88 is scheduled to close permanently at 7 p.m., Monday and traffic to Route 70 will diverted to a new service road at Interchange 89.  Signs will tell drivers to use Interchange 89 to reach Route 70 from the Parkway south. Work to close Interchange 88 will begin Monday evening and will be finished before rush hour Tuesday morning.
