Orion Music + More (In My Backyard)[VIDEO]

I'm lovin' it.

Oh, wait, I think that's trademarked.

At any rate, you know by now Metallica will headline The Orion Music + More Festival in June and the Hawk's got your tickets this week.

What you probably didn't know is that Bader Field, where the festival will happen, is just a few miles from where I live, so that's why I'm really psyched.

It's already nice to live near Atlantic City for the great rock and comedy shows at the casinos.

But up until The Dave Matthews band was allowed to bring their Caravan to Bader Field  for a 3-day festival last summer, there wasn't a place for large outdoor rock 'n' roll events near A.C. (Gardner's Basin in A. C. hosts shows, but it doesn't have the capacity of Bader Field).

If those of us living near Atlantic City wanted a big outdoor rock music festival with big names in years past, we hit the road to Philly or Camden or sometimes Asbury Park (Bamboozle).

Luckily for you guys living in Ocean County,  Bader Field isn't hard to get to--it's just a fast drive down the parkway!
