Operation Cupcake Celebrates 10,000 Cupcakes! [VIDEO]

I was honored to meet these amazing young ladies a month ago in the Hawk Studio.

Operation Cupcake was started in November 2012 by two fifth grade New Jersey girls Emma and Nina who wanted to use their love of baking cupcakes to support Hurricane Sandy victims and relief workers. Click READ MORE to check out their video.

Emma and Nina thought it would be nice to make cupcakes for the people in the shelter. The first delivery was 400 cupcakes. Before they had sprinkled the last cupcake, they had another order of 500 cupcakes for the troops deployed to the barrier islands. Operation Cupcake was born!
