The Jets had their season end around Week 6, the Eagles fell short of the playoffs, and the Giants just crapped their pants - time for baseball!

MLB has an awesome lineup for Opening Day 2017. On Sunday April 2nd, the Yankees head to Tampa Bay to take on the Rays at 1pm, while the Diamondbacks host the San Francisco Giants in Arizona at 4pm. Sunday night wraps up as the Defending World Champion Chicago Cubs visit the St. Louis Cardinals starting at 8:30pm.

The Mets start their season the next day hosting the Atlanta Braves at 1pm, the Padres visit the Dodgers at 4pm, the Indians head south to face the Texas Rangers at 7pm, and the Oakland Athletics host the Angels at 10pm.

The Giants/DBacks game and the Angels/As game will be on ESPN2, while the other five games will be on ESPN.

The Phillies also start their season on April 4th going to Cincinnati to face the Reds, but that game won't be aired on ESPN.

I would like to apologize in advance to my wife, who is one of the ultimate "baseball widows" - it's one thing to give up Sundays for football, but it's way harder on her because baseball only has a few days off each month. Sorry!
