I don't know about you, but I can't watch and listen to this creature without laughing until tears are streaming down my face.

This is the Namaqua Rain Frog, a tiny amphibian that measures less than 2 inches in length and is a burrowing frog.

This particular squeaky frog was caught on film in the sand dunes along Port Nolloth in South Africa.

When feeling threatened and to deter predators, this type of frog can inflate its body dramatically as a defense mechanism and make a high-frequency, squeaky distress call.

Predators encountering this squeaky frog toy are laughing so hard that they can't kill him. :-D
