Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon 2012

What started on Monday, October 15 at 5 p.m. and will end Friday, October 19 at 7 p.m., Andy Chase is living on a billboard above the Target parking lot on Hooper Avenue in Toms River to raise money for Ocean of Love, a local organization dedicated to supporting families in the fight against pediatric cancer.

The goal is to raise $105,700 for this very worthy cause and we need YOUR help.

How to Donate

Visit Ocean of Love’s website to make your donation or stop by their offices at 1709 Route 37 East in Toms River.

Call the Hawk studio line at 1-877-HAWK-1057 to donate by phone.

Text LOVE to 89000 to make a donation by mobile phone.

Or stop by the billboard anytime to make a donation. We’d love to see you.

You can also “pay to play” any song on 105.7 The Hawk. For a $20 donation we’ll play the classic rock song of your choice. For $50 we’ll play something from a different format (must be in our system).

Online Auction

We are conducting an online auction full of amazing items with all proceeds benefiting Ocean of Love. We’ll also be adding more auction items throughout the week. Bidding ends at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 19.

Activities for Kids

• On Tuesday, October 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. donate $2 and receive a slice of delicious pizza from Papa John’s on Route 37 in Toms River. Don’t forget to say hi to their mascot Slice! Also, cool off with Kona Ice!
• On Wednesday, October 17 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. check out Gamin’ Ride, a mobile interactive entertainment center loaded with video games and Glamour Ride, an interactive traveling party! Also get your caricature done courtesy of Howard Bender!
• On Thursday, October 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. get your face painted with Chubby Penguin Parties!
