As part of his Eagle Scout project, Stafford Township's Parker Petty created a number of boxes stocked with pantry items to be used by the community, called a "Free Little Pantry."

Stafford Township officials say the boxes are accessible to the public all day, every day, all year long.

Residents and families in need will be able to visit one of the pantries and take what they need, or help keep the boxes stocked with goods. Items needed are non-perishable, canned goods, as well as personal care items (excluding sharp objects and chemicals).

There are three pantry boxes located around Stafford:

  • Bay Avenue Community Center (775 East Bay Avenue)
  • Beach Avenue Park (77 Beach Avenue)
  • Heritage Park (West Bay Avenue)

Petty has plans to add one more box Ocean Acres.
