Ocean County Dog Needs Christmas Miracle

Christmas is here and the season of giving is in full effect, but as you finish up shopping and baking cookies, it's important to remember those in need, including those of the four legged variety.

Meet Buddy, a 9 year old Chow mix looking for a forever home this Christmas.  Buddy is currently located at the Friends of Ocean County Animal Shelter in Manahawkin.

According to the shelter, Buddy is a very sweet boy that was originally surrendered due to some minor skin issues, which cleared up while at their facility.  He was adopted, but returned because his new family had another dog that didn't take too well to Buddy.  The stress of the move and return to the facility brought his skin condition back, but it is fortunately clearing up again.

Buddy is neutered and would do best in a quiet home, with no other dogs.  If you are ready to give this wonderful boy a forever home for the holidays, please contact the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter by:
