NY Rangers to Play in the 2018 Winter Classic at Citi Field

It's not 100% finalized just yet, but it's looking pretty likely that the New York Rangers will be facing the Buffalo Sabres outdoors at Citi Field for the 2018 Winter Classic on New Year's Day.

The New York Rangers faced the Philadelphia Flyers in the Winter Classic back in 2012.

The 2018 Winter Classic will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the New Year's Day hockey game.
