During the fourth quarter of the Giants’ victory over the Cowboys, Ben McAdoo’s headset stopped working. In order to communicate with QB Eli Manning, McAdoo used a walkie-talkie. The Cowboys complained, the NFL investigated, and now the Giants have been hit with their punishment:


NFL rules state that communication between a quarterback and his sideline must end when there are 15 seconds left on the play clock. Normally the radio receiver in the quarterback's helmet will automatically go silent at that point, but there's no way to monitor communication if teams have to use walkies.
