No injuries from Sunday car fire on the Garden State Parkway in Beachwood

No injuries are being reported from a single-car fire on the Garden State Parkway near milepost 78.8 Sunday afternoon around 3:30pm and the blaze was put out within minutes of arrival, according to the Beachwood Volunteer Fire Department.
 
Due to the dangers the fire presented and clearance fire crews needed to put out the fire traffic was delayed on the GSP for a period of time.
The Beachwood Volunteer Fire Department was joined on scene by the Pinewald Fire Department, New Jersey Forest Fire Service and Bayville First Aid squad.
