If you booze you lose, if you get high, you most certainly also loose as was the case for drivers charged in a New Jersey State Police DUI Checkpoint on Route 37 in Toms River on Saturday August 18.

State Troopers set up a DUI checkpoint along Route 37 westbound in front of the Pisces Seafood Restaurant between Saturday night at 10:00 pm until Sunday morning at 3:00 am.

Within the five hour detail, Troopers charged 9 individuals with Driving Under the Influence (DUI), arrested one fugitive from justice and interacted with about 400 vehicles spreading the #DriveResponsibly message, according to the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.

"Prosecutor Joe Coronato lauds the New Jersey State Police, OCPO's partner in safety, for making Ocean County safer," The OCPO said in a statement.
