The Hawk has been your home for Jets football the past few years, and our building is full of Giants fans (like me!) and Eagles fans (like Tom Cunningham) and then random weirdo Bears fans (like Andy Chase).

Since no one (other than Andy) cares about the Bears, we're just going to focus on the First Round results for our three local teams.

The Jets' miserable 2016 season set them up with the 6th pick overall, which they spent on Jamal Adams, a safety from LSU, who they hope will bring some skill and stability to their defense.

The Eagles initially had the 12th pick, but traded it to the Browns. The Eagles then traded with the Vikings to get the 14th pick, where they selected defensive end Derek Barnett out of Tennessee.

The Giants had the best season of our locals last year, so they ended up with the 23rd selection. Instead of going defensive like the Jets & Eagles, the Giants took tight end Evan Engram out of Mississippi.

Barring any trades, the Jets have the 39th, 70th, 107th, 150th, 191st, and 224th picks to go. The Eagles still have the 43rd, 99th, 118th, 139th, 155th, 194th, and 230th picks. The Giants are still looking at the 55th, 87th, 140th, 167th, 207th, and 241st picks.
