The band has booked an appearance in Indio, California on April 12, to headline the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with electronic stars Daft Punk.

Mick Jagger had told the crowd at the Prudential Center last Saturday, on their final show of 2012, "This is our last show...of the 50th anniversary tour. Hope to see you again soon."

As to whether the Stones will appear on-stage before Coachella next year, that's still unrevealed.

At nme.com, the band's former member weighed in on the state of the Stones:

"Stones ex-guitarist Mick Taylor has said the band have been "re-energized" by their 50-year anniversary gigs.

Taylor, who joined the band onstage at four of the five anniversary concerts, said the band are "re-energized and possibly very enthusiastic about doing things in the future."
