According to the New York Post, the Jets will pay approximately $325,000 to their cheerleading squad after they filed a class-action lawsuit over low wages.

The suit stated that the cheerleaders were only paid $150 per game and not paid for practice time. They also had to pay for their own hair, makeup, and transportation.

As per the terms of the agreement, from the AP, all 52 cheerleaders will receive between $2,559 and $5,913 each, depending on what seasons they worked and whether they participated in photo shoots. The Jets denied the cheerleaders’ claims but agreed to settle to avoid litigation.
