With the ongoing road construction on rt. 35, officials have come up with a plan for traffic in and out of Seaside Heights this weekend for the parade so there won't be a repeat of the traffic nightmare from the Polar Bear Plunge a few weeks ago.

With temps expected to be in the 50's on Saturday, Seaside Heights is preparing for a record turnout for the 30th annual Seaside Heights St. Patrick's Day Parade kicking off at 12p on Saturday March 8th

There will be two lanes both ways into town and out of town whereas before there was only one lane each way,” said Camera. “The fact that it got choked down to one lane coming in and leaving was a problem. We have representatives from the (Department of Transportation) and the contractor out there and they’ve assured us that it will be ten times better than it was during the Polar Bear Plunge.
