Here's something that you don't hear very often.

Guns n' Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine" as it would sound in 1920's New Orleans.

It's part of the album Twist is the New Twerk by Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox, which offers 17 alternative works of more modern songs.

Their version of GnR’s Sweet Child O’Mine features guest vocalist Miche Braden. Pianist Bradlee explains: “She returned to help us show what it would have sounded like if Bessie Smith had recorded it back in the 20s.

While I can appreciate the musicians, especially this powerful singer, I think I'll take the old version, thank you.
