A 37-year-old New Jersey policeman has been arrested and charged with official misconduct for allegedly unzipping his fly during several traffic stops, authorities said.

According to nydailynewscom (where you can see a photo of the officer):

Newton, N.J. Police Officer Jason Miller, a married father of two, has been charged with exposing himself during traffic stops.

The cop has been on the Newton Police Department force since 2001 and is currently free on $35,000 bail after being charged Monday with lewdness and two counts of official misconduct, according to Chief Michael Richards and the Sussex County prosecutor's office.

I would have said, save the shaft for the actual traffic ticket :-D but....apparently, Miller didn't write any tickets for the 'look-at-my-package' stops, even though one driver had an expired license and registration and another driver admitted to having been drinking alcohol.

Reportedly, he only exposed himself to young male drivers.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to inspect my love gun, and compare it to yours--don't worry, it's just normal police procedure."

Police Dept. to Miller: "We said pull them over not pull it out...Jeez."
