Two varieties of Hot Pockets have been recalled due to contamination by diseased meat.

According to bossip.com:

Nestlé USA has issued a recall of two varieties of Philly Steak and Cheese Hot Pockets because they may contain meat that has already been recalled by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The two brands are Philly Steak and Cheese in three different pack sizes, and Croissant Crust Philly Steak and Cheese in the two pack box.

The USDA recalled more than 8.7 million pounds of meat from the Rancho Feeding Corporation because it “processed diseased and unsound animals and carried out these activities without the benefit or full benefit of federal inspection.”

I'm so glad I'm a vegan (I just have to watch out for contaminated veggies).

Jim explains why Hot Pockets aren't a good meal choice even without contaminated meat. :-D
