Neil Young tells Rolling Stone, "It's one of the lowest tech experiences I've ever had."

Neil was talking about his forthcoming new album, "A Letter Home", due out in March.

But when asked why Neil described the album the way he did, he didn't elaborate, but simply said, "You'll hear it."

Meanwhile, Neil just accepted his Grammy honors award from the Recording Academy, specifically the President's Merit Award from the Producers & Engineers wing on Tuesday night in L.A.

His speech is described at rollingstone.com as ".....equal parts musical manifesto, stand-up comedy, and personal history. It's essential reading if you want to understand Young's studio philosophy, or if you just want to know how he made "Like a Hurricane..."

He declared, "The time has come for us to recover and to bring music back to the people in a way that they can recognize it in their souls."
