Neal Schon at 59: Talking with Carlos Santana about a New Project

Neal Schon is making plans with his old bandmate to create music together again.

But first, happy birthday to Neal!

He was born on February 27, 1954 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Neal will join Carlos Santana in a potential new project.

“I’ve reconnected with Carlos Santana now and we have been talking about doing something together again.”

Of course, Neal started out with Santana when he was a 15-year old prodigy, so it’ll be interesting to see these two incredible guitarists making music together again.

Last October, Schon released a solo album, “The Calling”.
