Last week, Asbury Park voted to ban smoking on their beaches. Now, more towns are following the trend.

Point Pleasant Beach, Wildwood, and North Wildwood have all added themselves to the list of towns that no longer allow beach-goers to light up. The Wildwoods also banned smoking on the boardwalk.

According to NJ.com, smoking was already banned on the beaches in Barnegat Light, Beach Haven, Belmar, Cape May Point, Harvey Cedars, Long Beach Township, Long Branch, Longport, Ocean Grove, Ocean City, Sea Girt, Seaside Park, Ship Bottom, Spring Lake and Surf City.

I am down with anything that keeps smoke away from me. No smoking on the beach, no smoking on the boardwalk, no smoking in restaurants - I'm in support of all of this.
