Lisa Ryan, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Community affairs, said 130 units will join the 45 that are currently being renovated.

Those 45 units are expected to be inhabited by the end of next week.

From an article in the Asbury Park Press:

"State and federal officials hope that within a month, an additional 130 temporary housing units at the former Fort Monmouth will be ready for superstorm Sandy victims."

According to State Assemblyman Declan O'Scanlon, the temporary units "might be able to be expanded by another couple of hundred units if the need arises."
