In an effort to be environmentally friendly, the Borough of Monmouth Beach passes an ordinance to limit the use of single use plastic bags, polystyrene foam containers and plastic straws by businesses.

They've now passed strict limitations on foam containers, plastic straws, and single use plastic bags to addressing a significant threat to wildlife, welfare, public health and the environment.

Violators of the new law on the books may be find themselves in trouble.
