Ladies and gentlemen: Mick Jagger celebrates his birthday today.

He was born July 26, 1943 in Kent, England.

He's been strutting and posing and defining rock for over 50 years.

And he's not done yet.

Jagger hosted the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" last May, doing several comic skits and playing some of the Rolling Stones' hits with Foo Fighters and Jeff Beck, with Arcade Fire playing backup.

But the big story of course is that for the 50th anniversary of the Rolling Stones, plans are in the works to celebrate the milestone with a massive tour.

Mick's hinted that the band might actually be on stage as early as this fall.

It appears that at the latest, the Stones will embark on a world tour by 2013.

Happy birthday to one of rock's earliest bad boys, and long live Mick and the Rolling Stones!
