More on the movie in a minute but first, a happy (early) birthday to Mick Jagger!

Mick turns 71 on Saturday, born on July 26, 1943 in Kent, England.

Age is most certainly just a number when it comes to Mick and his bandmates because The Stones are still going strong, of course, after all these years.

They just wrapped up the European leg of their tour earlier this month and now take their 14 ON FIRE tour back to Australia and New Zealand this October/ November, starting at the Adelaide Oval on 25th October.

The forthcoming movie about James Brown, "Get on Up" (20 years in the making), was co-produced by Jagger. He led the cast and crew down the red carpet when the movie premiered at the Apollo Theater in New York Monday night.

Mick recently tweeted:

"In New York for the premiere of #GetOnUp - hope you love it as much as we do! Chad is incredible."

Mick readily admits to having copped all his moves from Brown.

According to cntv.com, Mick says:

"...I saw him many times over the years. And I always kind of studied him, the way he moved and the way he always gave his best. And the way he always changed up his style and stuff. So I appreciate all the things he does. And so I hope this movie is a fitting tribute to him."

The film will be released in U.S. theaters on August 1st.
