Mets’ Yoenis Céspedes Leaves Diamonds All Over the Diamond
I'm surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often.
Mets' outfielder Yoenis Cespedes legged out a double, sliding into second base. As he stood up, he released his necklace had snapped, leaving diamonds strewn around the infield dirt.

Diamonds are expensive! You probably shouldn't wear them while performing strenuous activities, man. Protect that stuff. Yo is making $29mil this year, so I'm sure he's not that worried (check out his $65,000 tricked out tricycle) but it's still got to be insanely frustrating to see your expensive jewelry get scattered through a pile of dirt. If that were me, the game would be delayed indefinitely while I sifted through every square inch of that infield.
And c'mon, if you're one of the grounds crew guys after the game...you're sneaking one or two into your pocket, right?
