Mets and Yankees Make Trade Deadline Moves!

The MLB Trade Deadline has come and gone. The final push to trade players came to an end at 4pm this afternoon.

The Yankees have been pretty active the last week trading some pitchers to get "younger" while the Mets have been dealing with injuries for the last week with plenty of trade rumors swirling.

What we now know for sure is that the Yankees send Outfielder Carlos Beltran to the Texas Rangers for hard throwing pitcher Dillon Tate. Yankees also send Ivan Nova to the Pirates

The Mets acquire slugger Jay Bruce from the  Cincinnati Reds for Dilson Herrera, and left handed prospect Max Wotell. The Mets also reacquire pitcher Jon Niese from the Pirates in a trade for relief pitcher Antonio Bastardo
