Martin Brodeur, one of the greatest goalies in NHL history, has been elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018.

Brodeur's name is at the top of the all-time lists in Games Played, Wins, Shutouts, and Saves. He was Rookie of the Year in in the 93-94 season, and won three Stanley Cups with the Devils.

I haven't really watched hockey since...1995. I peripherally rooted for the Devils before that, they won the Stanley Cup that year, and I guess I just decided that was good enough for me. Even though I wasn't actively watching, I had enough friends who were Devils fans, so I knew that Brodeur was a dominant force, and built his career up to become an all-time great. Congrats Marty!
