Marlboro Township Police Chief Bruce E. Hall and Mayor Jonathan Hornik announced the graduation of Patrolman Joshua Abrahamson and his canine partner "Bolo" from canine patrol and scent school. 

The duo successfully completed a 17 week specialized training program in police canine patrol work and explosives detection. Ptlm. Abrahamson and "Bolo" will be assigned patrol duties in order to assist the people of Marlboro residents as well as enhance the Marlboro Township Police Department.

Mayor Jon Hornik said, "Congratulations to Ptlm. Abrahamson on his graduation from police dog training. We are proud to add this bomb detection capability to Marlboro's already very capable arsenal to keep our school kids and residents safe. We will continue to evaluate and update all of police personnel and equipment with the changing times. We wish Josh good luck as he begins this new phase in his career in law enforcement.
