Last Night was the last home game of the season for the New York Yankees. It was also the last time Yankees closer Mariano Rivera would step on the Yankee Stadium field as an active player as he is retiring at the end of this season after 19 years.Rivera pitched a perfect 1 1/3 inning before Yankees Manager Joe Girardi asked Yankees Pitcher Andy Pettitte, and Derek Jeter to go to the mound and "pull" Mariano from the game.
