There is just something about fast food that makes people abuse 911. In the past, folks have been arrested after calling emergency services to report problems with their orders at Burger King, McDonald's, Subway and Hardee's.

Gregory Jackson Sr. decided to cut out the middleman. Instead of going to his local restaurant chain to be disappointed, the 53-year-old called 911 and requested the dispatcher deliver him a cheeseburger. And when that didn't work, he just called again.

In fact, the New Castle, Indiana man called 911 nine times. Eventually the dispatcher became concerned that Jackson may have been starving so he sent officers over to his apartment.

Jackson, who has an extensive criminal history, was found to be well fed. It was also discovered that he had a warrant for failing to appear in court that had been issued just two days before his unusual food order.

And that's actually what he was arrested for, not the flaky phone call. So the lesson here is calling 911 when you need a snack might be OK. Just don't do it if you also have a warrant out for your arrest.
