Man Brings Stuffed Owl to Court as His Lawyer [Video]

Some people can't afford a lawyer, which is why one can be provided for you.

It's not clear if this man is poor or just stupid, as he used a stuffed owl as his public defender in a case in which he was accused of violating a protection order. 

He went to his former roommate's house to pick up some of his belongings, and he was accused of stealing some of the roommate's belongings as well.

This man is really lucky that charges weren't pressed against him for violating the order.

The judge ignored the owl during the hearing, but the guy getting off so easily really shows that the owl was indeed a great public defender, and more people should hire him!
