John McVie celebrated his 66th birthday over the weekend. Born in London on November 26, 1945,  he was a member of John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in the 60′s, but of course he’s best known as the bassist for Fleetwood Mac. McVie was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 for his work with the band.  BTW, word is that Fleetwood Mac is planning to tour in 2012 and a forthcoming new album is possible.
