Lindsey Buckingham Says New Fleetwood Mac Album Depends on Stevie Nicks

Lindsey Buckingham reveals there will only be a new Fleetwood Mac album if Stevie Nicks is able to commit to songs for the band and not her own solo album.

Ultimateclassicrock.com reports that Lindsey said Stevie enjoyed making her recent solo album, and “I think she’s feeling protective and territorial about the experience she had doing her solo project,” Buckingham said, continuing, “And I can totally relate to that.”

This has been a very busy year for Fleetwood Mac, which saw them tour the states with new material and last week they played several shows in London, with Christine McVie joining them on stage for "Don't Stop".

Last winter, Stevie and Lindsey talked about new songs they recorded and said whether a new album springs from them depends on fan reaction.
