Lighthouse International Film Festival Kicks Off Tonight

This year's Lighthouse International Film Festival kicks off tonight, June 7th, and runs through Sunday, June 10th.

Venues across Long Beach Island will host a ton of movies and events. 11 feature-length films will be accompanied by 35 short films. The festival has also added a new "Storytellers" feature that includes 9 submissions.

One of the coolest elements? A Virtual Reality experience to fully immerse you in the viewing of a group of entries.

Here's the full list and schedule of all the movies and parties you can check out this weekend. Tickets are available, along with an All Access Badge that can get you into every, movie, party, and the VR experience.

It's been a while since I've hit up a big movie festival, and that whole "having a baby" thing means it's hard to take that much time away, but if you have the opportunity and the time, festivals can be an awesome experience.
