Late night shows offer bands a great way of getting a song out to a wide audience, but Kiss fans will get quite a bit more than just one track next week when the group takes part in a 'Live on Letterman' concert webcast.

Kiss are promoting their 'Monster' album that arrives in stores next Tuesday (Oct. 9), and they'll be making a stop at the 'Late Show With David Letterman.' While the band will perform at least one song during the national broadcast, they intend on sticking around to play a full set that fans can catch the stream of on demand at CBS.com and VEVO immediately following the show.

Letterman typically reserves the 'Live on Letterman' concert webcasts for only the top performers, with acts like Pearl Jam, Paul McCartney and the Foo Fighters taking part. Kiss have the honor of being the landmark 50th act to perform for the concert series.

The band is in a good place leading up to the album release. They just wrapped up a very successful summer run with Motley Crue on 'The Tour,' and followed their summer hit 'Hell or Hallelujah' by posting two new songs -0 'Long Way Down' and 'All for the Love of Rock and Roll' -- earlier this week.
