Kick Off 2019 With A ‘First Day Hike’ at Island Beach State Park
The "First Day Hike" trend has been gaining momentum as a fun, fresh way to kick off the New Year. Rather than start 2019 on the couch, spend the day hiking around different trails across New Jersey, including Island Beach State Park!
The Friends of Island Beach State Park are hosting a hike on Tuesday, January 1st at 2pm. The walk will be about 1.5 miles out and back. If you're interested, you can meet at the Pavilion at Swimming Area 1 at Island Beach State Park.
