Kevin Smith’s “Yoga Hosers” Premieres Tonight In Red Bank

It's Kevin Smith's birthday, and he's celebrating with a screening of his new movie "Yoga Hosers", to be followed by a Q&A with Silent Bob himself!

The movie "Tusk" set the groundwork for the latest from Kevin Smith, "Yoga Hosers". It will star Smith's daughter Harley Quinn, Johnny Depp, and Depp's daughter Lily-Rose Depp. Smith teased this movie when he spoke with Free Beer & Hot Wings a while ago, and it is finally getting released.

15 year old-yoga-nuts Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie love their smart phones and hate their after school job at Manitoban convenience store Eh-2-Zed. But when an ancient evil rises from beneath Canada’s crust and threatens their big invitation to a Grade 12 party, the Colleens join forces with the legendary man-hunter from Montreal named Guy Lapointe to fight for their lives with all seven Chakras, one Warrior Pose at a time. Johnny Depp, Depp the younger and Smith the younger are returning in the roles they created for TUSK."

After the movie is your chance to talk to/yell at director Kevin Smith LIVE in person! Following the movie, audience members will have the chance to see Kevin Smith in an hour-long Q&A. The premiere will also be filmed for Kevin’s hit TV show, Comic Book Men, which is in its sixth season on AMC.

A bunch of years ago, I went to an outdoor screening of Clerks at a park in Red Bank, preceded by a Q&A with Smith, and it was hilarious. His interaction with fans is the stuff of legends (and DVDs) so if you're into the View Askewniverse, you should definitely check this out.
