Jon Bon Jovi rode with President Obama to New York on board Air Force One Monday night as the President attended three campaign fundraisers.

Jon was spotted by reporters at JFK Airport; he was not an announced guest on the flight. The White House said he traveled as a “guest of the President” but the campaign paid for the flight according to Politico. Obama and the Sayreville native posed for a picture before going their separate ways reports Bloomberg.

A long time supporter of Democrat candidates for the White House, Jon was to perform at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan in a fundraising event with former President Bill Clinton.

The presidential duo will speak at a high-dollar fundraiser at a private home and end the night at an event dubbed “Barack on Broadway” at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Nina Arianda, Kerry Butler, Norbet Leo Butz, Bobby Cannavale, Stockard Channing, Chuck Cooper Neil Patrick Harris, Meagn Hilty, Cheyenne Jackson, James Earl Jones, Tony Kushner, Angela Lansbury, Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Hattienne Park,  Mandy Patinkin, Patrick Wilson and Jeffrey Wright.

Jon  last campaigned for Obama in 2008, hosted a fundraiser at his home  and playing Obama’s  inauguration.

Jon performed at a number of campaign events for John Kerry during the 2004 campaign and playing at Al Gore’ Live Earth concert in the Meadowlands  in 2007.
