Joe Walsh is working on his next album and it's going to be filled with other heavy-hitters, including Mick Jagger and Ringo Starr.

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Joe says it's "loosely a blues album."

There's no release date set just yet, but Walsh says there are “about 12 tracks, and it’s really good. We’ll probably do it again before I call it finished, but we got a really good start on it.”

Meanwhile, the History of the Eagles tour is coming to a city near you this summer (they'll be at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly July 16th).

And according to rollingstone.com, Joe Walsh says former Eagles guitarist and co-founder Bernie Leadon will join the group on the upcoming road jaunt.

Bernie's brilliant," Walsh told Billboard. "I never really got a chance to play with him, but we've been in contact. We see him from time to time, and I'm really glad he's coming because it's going to take the show up a notch, and I'm really looking forward to playing with him, finally.
