Although her family says "she's resting comfortably", Joan Rivers remains in a medically induced coma after she suffered cardiac arrest and stopped breathing during a vocal chord procedure.

As reported by chicagotribune.com this morning:

There was no change in her condition from late on Thursday, when daughter Melissa Rivers issued a statement saying her 81-year-old mother was resting comfortably, said Mount Sinai Hospital spokeswoman Lucia Lee.

Joan had been scheduled to perform tonight at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.

All best wishes for a full recovery for the brilliant and groundbreaking comedian.
