Tony Sparano, former head coach of the Miami Dolphins, is taking over as offensive coordinator for the New York Jets.He will replace Brian Schottenheimer, who told the Jets he will not return to the team, despite a contract that keeps him with New York for two more years.

To some fans, any news involving the end of Schottenheimer’s reign is good news. Others are not pleased, as Sparano is an “enemy” – the coach of a division rival for three-plus seasons.

Let’s see what he can do with an offense that finished 25th overall this season and a quarterback who seemed to regress from his first two trips to the AFC Championship game.
