Cortese was spotted by a Seaside Heights police officer walking down the middle of a street “a little intoxicated” slapping cars as they drove by according to WNBC TV.

It’s “nothing major, but we can’t put up with it,” said Police Chief Tommy Boyd. “We don’t treat the cast differently than anyone else.”

Video on TMZ.com shows her dancing down the street and being cuffed.

The New Egypt native was taken to police headquarters and served a summons before being released.

Cortese  is one of the few cast members actually from New Jersey on the show. She joined the cast as a friend of Snooki’s, who also had her own run-in with Seaside Heights Police in July, 2010  when she was drunk on the beach. Ronald “Ronnie” Ortiz-Magro was arrested the following month on a warrant for unpaid bills.
