ZZ Top and Jeff Beck decided they would bring to life what had been a spoof of them performing a Tennessee Ernie Ford classic song.

The two-year-old video uses well-timed edits of footage recorded at their 2009 set at the 25th-annniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert to make it appear as though they’re playing ‘Sixteen Tons', according to ultimateclassicrock.com.

When the two hit L.A. on their co-headlining tour on August 13th, they took to the stage together to actually perform the song for real.

Catch the tour on August 30th at Ceasars Circus Maximus theater in Atlantic City.
